The Finca: distributing the vaccine to the community
This past month, the Finca served as a vaccination site for our staff, missionaries, and neighboring villages. We are grateful for your support of our healthcare initiatives that allowed us to distribute the COVID vaccine to our community! Honduras continues to experience restrictions for in-person education and other services due to COVID, and we hope that the distribution of the vaccine throughout the country will help our students return to classes soon!
Gratitude for our Summer Missionaries!
Our summer missionaries brought so much joy, love, and energy to the Farm of the Child for the past two months! Carson, Rachel, and Sarah truly made this summer a blessing by filling in while our longterm missionaries were on their home visits. Our summer missionaries make an 8-week commitment to live our pillars of spirituality, service, community, and simplicity in order to support our community, missionaries, and housing staff during the summer months. They were courageous and took a risk in traveling to Honduras during this time of uncertainty, and we are so thankful for their generosity of heart and spirit.
