Why did you decide to serve the mission at Farm of the Child?

As I prepared to graduate from college in the Spring of 2024, I was looking towards what my life would be like after graduation. I felt God calling me to make a radical change in how I lived my life, but I wasn’t sure what that would be. Eventually, the opportunity to serve at the Finca appeared! While discerning this, I visited a different part of Honduras on a week-long immersion trip. The simplicity, peace, beauty, and love I experienced on this trip made me fall in love with the country! Two years will be very different from a week-long trip, but I’m so excited for all the challenges and adventures that lie ahead of me! Most of all, I’m excited to see how the Lord will continue to mold my heart and draw me closer to Him!
