Marriage Panel
Marriage and healthy relationships can be hard to find in general, but especially good examples for our children to follow as they most often have not seen this in their own lives.
With this reality in mind, Molly McAuliff organized a marriage panel for Finca and local children. She found five couples that were eager to give their stories and their perspectives on healthy dating and marriages!
Thank you to Molly and Drew for being a great example to our children and for showing them that healthy relationships are possible!
Lenten Appeal Update
We are just $2100 away from our goal of matching $21,000 this Lent! There is still time to make your donation count twice before Easter!
Thank you Notre Dame!
Last month we had a group of Notre Dame undergraduate students visit to help at the school with English and kindergarten classes, installed solar-powered exterior lights, and put up ceiling panels in San Valentin and the food bodega to reduce the effect of direct sun. They were also able to visit the beach, nearby hot springs, hang out in the hammocks and win a soccer game against the neighbors! It was a very productive week and we can't wait to have them visit again! If you know of a college or young adult group that would like to plan and participate in an alternative break, let us know!
This month in pictures
This month our kids have been hard at work at school and play. One of the best outlets for children that have been through trauma is the ability to be creative and we love finding new ways to help cultivate that creativity!
