Christ is Risen!

Easter week at the Finca is one of the most beautiful times of the year! It involves Living Stations of the Cross, Holy Thursday with the Sisters washing the feet of the children, many processions and beautiful services remembering Jesus' Passion and a the most joyous celebration on Easter Sunday.

It is a time of prayerful reflection.

We pray that you and your family were also able to fully enter into the Easter Season!

Lenten Appeal Update

With your help we were able to blow our goal out of the water! With our matching donation we were able to raise over $45,000 this Lenten season! Thank you to every person and donation, no matter the size, for allowing our Honduran team to continue the healing work that they do.

Clinic Wishlist

We have a generous offer from a former missionary to transport clinic supplies to the Finca for us! Help us fulfill our clinic wishlist below. After adding something to your cart you can click "Farm of the Child's gift registry address" for the items to be sent to us!

Thank you Bishop Solé!

Bishop Luis Solé Fa was appointed Bishop of Trujillo in 2005 and will be retiring on May 6 of this year. In these last 18 years he has been on of Finca del Niños biggest supporters, helping in any capacity he could. He currently serves on our Honduran Board of Directors, is at the Finca any chance he gets to help celebrate Mass and the Sacraments for our children, has attended US Board meetings and spoken out about the crisis of child and family care in Honduras. Bishop Solé has been a constant companion to our organization and we wish him the best in his retirement!

Please keep Bishop Solé in your prayers in addition to Bishop Henry Orlando Ruiz Mora who will be consecrated as Bishop of Trujillo this Saturday!

Last month in pictures

This month included the welcoming of our new Social Worker, Lic. Madeleine which allowed our Director Lic. Lorena to be focused completely on Direction.

The missionaries opened their house to every other house on the Finca to enjoy meals, community and sometimes even movie nights together.

Our children were able to have their annual teeth cleaning. Dental care is so important!

Missionary Spotlight

Natalie Gaber

Natalie is our Finca nurse this year! While you can find her in the clinic, you will also see her in the houses playing with children and on the Campo beating everyone at soccer (fútbol)! She is constantly laughing and bringing joy to others around her.

In addition to all her other jobs, Natalie is also in charge of our Bridge to Independent Living program for our youth and helping with our pictures, social media and updates! We truly couldn't keep going without her! Thank you, Natalie, for your service.
