Thank you McAuliff Family!

This month, the McAuliff Family arrived back in the United States after spending almost 2 years at the Finca. They wore many hats of project manager, missionary coordinator, woman's group leader, Godparents, teacher and friends. Their presence will be missed and we are so grateful for the foundations they built that will continue to grow. Please join us in praying for them as Drew begins his Masters in Engineering at the University of Notre Dame in August and they prepare to welcome their 4th child in September.

Quinceañera

In early June we welcomed a Medical Brigade called Mountain Medics International joined us as they This month one of our children turned 15! In the Central American culture a 15th birthday, or Quinceañera, marks the passage into adulthood. It is celebrated with Mass and a large celebration similar to a wedding with a court of friends surrounding the birthday girl. Join us in praying for our Quinceañera this month and her continued growth and healing in these important years of childhood.

4th of July/ Vacation Days

While Honduran Independence day is in September, the Finca community had an amazing weekend celebrating with it's United States resident for the 4th of July! The celebration was marked with a party on the beach complete with music and baseball.

Our children also had the chance for a couple of excursions to a local pool and museum this month. We love any opportunity to learn more and have fun together!

Martha Gámez

Please help us in welcoming our newest Farm USA Staff member, Martha Gámez.

Martha has been working in development for the last 15 years and has been with the Diocese of Phoenix for the last 5 years.

She has a palpable love and care for the most

vulnerable members of the human family. She has a gift for entering into and communicating the mission of the Farm and has already been such a blessing to our team and Board members.

Over the next few months you will be hearing a lot more from Martha, and she looks forward to getting to know all of you more!
