I remember arriving at Finca del Niño feeling lost and scared. In thinking back,, I just needed a place to belong, a place to feel safe, and I found it.  The love and care I got there completely changed my life. It was like finding a real family, a real home, and a future that actually looked bright.

Life wasn’t easy at first, but those tough times made me strong. The amazing staff, Tías, and volunteers were always there to cheer me on and help me grow. They lit a fire inside me, and I'm so grateful for that.

Today, I am proud to be a contributing member of my community. I’m proud to be part of my community. The lessons I learned at Finca – being honest, working hard, and caring for others – still guide me every day. I try to surround myself with good people and live a life that’s true to myself.

The friendships I made at Finca are forever. As I figure out this adult thing, I’m lucky to have my Finca family. We’re always there for each other, and that just shows how special our time together was.
