I'll never forget that first day at Finca del Niño. I was just a scared little five-year-old, totally overwhelmed by everything. Even though the people were nice and the food was good, I was still freaked out and didn't know what to expect.

As a child born into a struggling family in Honduras, I had faced hardship from a young age. Finca was a huge change, and it was tough at first. My coping mechanisms were a reflection of my inner turmoil. I was a bundle of energy, always on the move, biting people, climbing, and refusing to sit still.

But slowly, things started to change. The Tías, the staff, and all the volunteers were so loving and caring. They helped me feel like I belonged, like I was part of a family. And it was through their kindness and their faith that I started to really understand the love of Jesus.

Finca became my home. I learned so much there – about school, about God, and about helping others. Those experiences shaped who I am today.

As I graduated from Finca and embarked on the next chapter of my life, I carried with me the lessons and values that had been instilled in me. I am now pursuing a degree in health and nutrition,  I want to help people, just like people helped me. I'm so grateful for everything Finca has done for me and for all the people who support it.

Your generosity has made a huge difference in my life and in the lives of so many other kids. By supporting Finca, you're spreading hope and love far and wide. Thank you for caring.
